Root & Soil Care

The fact is, the ground under our feet (and what’s growing in it) sometimes can use a little help.  Many trees and shrubs are not as healthy as they could be, due to construction, nearby buildings, sidewalks or careless planting in incompatible soils.  We can help alleviate some of these problems with the appropriate care:

• Deep root fertilization
  
• Root crown excavation to remove a “girdling root” (generally, a root that has grown tightly around the top of a root mass, cutting off a plant’s supply of nutrients)
  
• Soil aeration
